Hard to believe but two years ago today Chris was having surgery. The whipple - something that would change our lives drastically. In fact last week when Chris was in the hospital we were only a couple of doors down from where we stayed for 9 days. March 3rd of last year was Chris' back surgery and the anniversary of Megan's SECOND car accident:) March 3rd was Chris' first night in the hospital. Told Meg to drive verryyyy carefully. Quick knock on wood it's been over six months since the last one!!!
Today, Chris, Katie and I went to a store. (Saw one of Chris' old employee's). Katie "tried" to throw a fit because I wouldn't buy her cheese balls. Thank goodness Chris didn't give in this time, he just went and bought her a drink instead:) He also picked up Rye and friends from middle school and took them to high school for track practice. I am trying to get Chris out of the house at least once a day. He is bored and very sad that he isn't at work. So, I say to all of you who are working - enjoy it:) Chris really misses it.
Love, Ricki

It's so good to hear of Chris doing some "normal" activities. Is the pneumonia clearing up with the meds?
